Using the remote control, the Stable Mister disperses a fine mist from high pressure misting heads to distribute daily doses that kills flies and disrupts the breeding cycles. The Stable Mister uses water and the insecticide Riptide (used by professionals and sold separately on unbeatablesale.com). Riptide is registered with the EPA as a water based Pyrethrin ULV. Pyrethrin, a botanical based insecticide derived from the pyrethrum flower, commonly known as the Chrysanthemum, has been used for years in controlling insects.
