Oster Cryogen-X Pet Clipper Blades Oster® is the first blade manufacturer to incorporate AgION® antimicrobial into the surface of the CryogenX™ blades. AgION® antimicrobial uses silver, a powerful metal ion, as the active ingredient to effectively control the growth of bacteria, mold and mildew. This is important protection needed when clipping animals next to each other. The CryogenX™ treatment is a tempering process which deep freezes these high-carbon steel blades to -300 degrees Fahrenheit. Innovative "grooves" have been added to the comb portion to allow for more heat dispersion. The end result is that they not only start out sharp, they stay sharper longer, thus requiring less sharpening than conventional blades. This blade is the perfect height for my Border Collie and Lab in Summer. It cuts like butter and is very easy to clean and maintain. I have been using it for about 6 months now and it has not let up on performance. Still cuts easily with no hangups or problems. Recommended.

These blades are very precise and works extremely well. I purchased universal attachments prior to using the dedicated length blades. It is like night and day. The dedicated blade only requires a couple of runs to have a clean cut, but meanwhile the universal attachments need 4-5 runs to get a nice clean cut. I would definitely recommend these if you want to save some time grooming your dogs.
