I ordered the clippers in an effort to save money - two very large breed dogs - Siberian Husky and Belgian Tervuren. The clippers work great - both dogs have very heavy, dense undercoats and once I figured out how to groom the coat the right way - it was very easy. The only con to this clipper is it does get very hot on the actual blade and I would have to stop to let it cool down since that was so close to the doggies skin. Definitely worth the price and I would recommend them to any DIY's out there.

This is a replacement for my first Andis trimmer. The older one had issues with being able to switch out the blades. This one works like a charm. With two dogs and two groomings each out of the way in this hot summer, this trimmer has already paid for itself.

I have two standard poodles, when I received the clippers they both were way over due for hair cuts. It took me 3 consecutive nights to finish just one of them, an hour each night. I had to stop at an hour because the clippers got so hot I was afraid of burning their skin, even the cool lube that I purchased didn't help. During the short time I could use the clippers they were very powerful, maybe if I had 2 blades, to change off, it would have been better.

I am a professional hairdresser and I just love these clippers...they are high quality and work wonderfully..I would for sure recommend them...nice hold in your hand..great..I raise westies and they are expensive to have clipped regularly and this is by far better for me...I just use my knowledge of cutting hair and these are wonderful..I highly recommend them
